Welcoming the 75th Indonesian independence, BKI strengthens its commitment to anti-corruption practices, bribery and gratification by obtaining an ISO 37001: 2016 certificate (08/06/20). This is in accordance with the mandate of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises which targets the implementation of clean business practices in BUMN areas with a deadline before August 17, 2020.

ISO 37001: 2016 certificate on Anti-Bribery Management System issued by BSI proves that BKI in practice its business has implemented and will continuously improve its anti-bribery compliance program, when the industry in general still does not fully understand the potential operational activities of organizations that are vulnerable to bribery.

Implementing ISO 37001: 2016 allows BKI to improve the governance of a better working relationship with the parties, by understanding and pro-actively managing the risks that will arise from the cooperative relationship. BKI as a state-owned company is committed to implementing business practices that comply with anti-bribery and anti-gratification provisions by implementing financial control measures, non-financial controls, control over gratuities, increasing reporting, investigations and handling of anti-bribery.
